Subject: The housing of military and civilian students at Oregon State College.

The following tabulation shows the number of persons in the A.S.T.U. program forecasted up to September 1943 and the places they will be housed:



The order in which dormitory and other faculties will he taken over for the A.S.T.P. is indicated above. We do not expect the number of persons to go beyond the housing capacity of the three dormitories and the four fraternity houses listed. (The fraternity houses to he used may not be the same ones occupied by the ROTC during the spring quarter. The housing and messing of military students will he under the direction of Miss Melissa Hunter.

Housing for women students will consist of East Hall and West Hall, the women's cooperatives, and approximately twelve fraternity houses. These houses will more than offset the housing lost through assigning Waldo and Snell Halls for military use. All housing of women students will be under the direction of Mrs. Lorna Jessup.
